To every single one of you…
… you have my utmost respect, admiration, and gratitude. For the contributions each of you have made to my life before and after that incredible day, I thank you. What occurred after could not have been without what had occurred before. Of this I am sure.
Everything does indeed happen for a reason and my experience over the last 18 months has been one of intense lows, intense highs, and an overall physical and spiritual education in every way. An education that I feel very much that I earned. My life is now very different than before, with the improvements and growth surpassing the hanging physical issues that remind me to stay humble.
There is no question that the biggest impact on my healing has been my incredible family and amazing group of friends and community that I am so fortunate to be a part of. My understanding of the love that we share has brought me more joy that words can express, which I intend to share as continuously as I can. Thank you for reminding me of the power of the human heart, spirit, and action. Your generosity, kindness, and beauty have left a lasting impact on my life.
Never alone, always together.
Thank you friend.

Dear Friends,
Great News - Jean was released
from the hospital on Monday night. Her father
drove her from Las Vegas to her brother, Jason’s
house in Ramona, CA where she will begin her recovery
and rehabilitation. Luckily, her sister in law
is able to be at home with her 24/7 and will make
sure Jean gets the attention and care that she
needs and very much deserves. At this point, Jean
needs assistance with everyday tasks that most
of us take for granted. The areas causing the
greatest concern are her back, neck, left clavicle,
and right forearm. She will be consulting with
different doctors and physical therapists over
the next week in order to determine her period
of recovery. She is limited in movement and will
be confined to a back brace until her vertebrae
are able to fuse back together the way they belong.
With rehabilitation and persistence, Jean will
make a full recovery and from the sound of her
voice, she is dedicated to a speedy recovery and
is anxious to get back to home to the beach.
Jean was ecstatic last night to finally be “Leaving
Las Vegas.” She is overwhelmed by the amount
of support from all of you who have sent well
wishes, warmed her heart, brought a smile to her
face, and kept her thoughts in a positive motion.
Jean’s mom, Joyce, will be flying out to
San Diego from the Seattle area the day after
Thanksgiving and there is no doubt in my mind
that we will be seeing both of them at the We
Love Jean Casey benefit. She sends her love and
thanks all of you from the bottom of her heart.
Jean and her family, along with Jamie and all
of her friends, thank each one of you that has
expressed interest in helping her recover from
this horrific accident. We are all very fortunate
to have each other. Keep sending massive amounts
of love and positive healing energy toward our
wonderful friend as each of us knows…sometimes,
all we need is a little help from our friends.
Hugs and love,
Charity, Jeans Friends & Family
